My path to becoming a therapist didn't start in a lecture hall; it began with my own lived experience. Years ago, I faced some of the heaviest challenges life can throw at you, navigating a period of my life that involved substance abuse, drinking, and homelessness. I know firsthand what it feels like to feel completely stuck, overwhelmed, and uncertain if a way forward even exists.
But through that journey, I discovered a fundamental truth that now forms the backbone of my entire practice: change is possible.
Rebuilding my life gave me a deep, driving purpose to help others find their own momentum. However, my recovery taught me another vital lesson - what worked for me might not be the exact blueprint that works for you. Everyone’s obstacles are entirely unique.
That is why I provide a custom approach to therapy. I didn't build this practice to force a one-size-fits-all solution onto anyone, nor do I only work with those facing recovery. Whether you are currently battling overwhelming anxiety and depression, navigating severe grief, working through a massive life transition, or simply trying to rebuild your self-esteem, my goal is to walk alongside you.
Together, we will focus on your unique goals, discover what works best for your mind, and build a practical path to help you make a genuine, lasting change.
